Radiology is the branch of Medicine that uses medical images to diagnose disease and guide treatment of patients. Imaging modalities include plain radiographs ( XRay), ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT), mammography (MMG), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), fluoroscopy, angiography and nuclear medicine studies.

Teleradiology is the secure transmission of radiological patient images (e.g. Xrays, CTs and MRIs) using modern digital technology from one location to another for the purpose of sharing examinations with other radiologists and physicians for interpretation and diagnosis, for the benefit of the patient

Telereporting costs are based on the modality of the examination , whether public or private sector client and the expected report turn-around time (TAT). TDRK uses the latest MMA professional fee guideline https://mma.org.my/schedule-of-fees/ as a basis for the modality-dependent aspect of the telereporting fee for private hospitals and stand alone radiology centers. We utilise a separate lower cost telereporting fee schedule (negotiable) for public health clinics and private GP clinics in Sabah and Sarawak. Please contact us for more details.
